Canoeing

Our Troop owns many canoes and our own canoe trailer. We spend at least one month of summer meetings at Lake Acworth to enjoy the lake and enhance our canoeing skills with games and challenges. Canoeing combines the tranquility of nature with the excitement of teamwork. In addition to our summer meetings, we also canoe on the Chattahoochee River, Etowah River, and Woodruff Scout Reservation.  For Scouts who want a true adventure, we send crews to Northern Tier High Adventure Base (Minnesota & Canada) for week-long canoe treks on a regular rotation,
