Camping

Our Troop camps every month, rain or shine. The Scouts in leadership positions (the Patrol Leadership Council or PLC) help to choose the campouts for the coming year. We mix in close locations like Allatoona Aquatics Base with farther destinations like Cloudland Canyon, Cumberland Island, or Cataloochee Ski Resort. We vary the activity type, too. Scouts gain confidence as they routinely get to practice their camping skills in many different settings.
